Our client is working on a brand new fixed communications network in KUWAIT and is looking for several Capacity Planning Engineer. Major Duties: Candidate must be able to perform following duties with minimal supervision. Working in conjunction with Project Managers and Network Design Engineers, order network facilities and InterconnecT elements based on forecast information. Participate in capital planning and analysis such as capital allocation, capital efficiency, network performance tracking as relate to the capital plan, return on investment metrics, and developing short and long term plans to achieve objectives for capital optimization supporting growth and profitability. Provide technical guidance to implementation team to assist with resolution of carrier issues. As necessary, provide training and Real Time technical support to all employees and contractors on proper test equipment operation and analysis of data. Interface directly with the Program Management organization to assist with vendor issues and product planning activities. Attend and participate in high level meetings and conference calls with carriers, vendors, and VzB management team. Understands, assists in the development of, and follows operational procedures. Interfaces directly with equipment vendors and optical suppliers to ensure network design compatibility. Provide weekly & monthly status reports. Perform other duties as assigned.
